Event
The Retail Real Estate Forum & Exhibition
will be held from December 11 - 14, 2005 at The Convention Centre, Jumeirah
Beach Hotel, Dubai, UAE. Shopping centre industry professionals from all over
the Middle East, India, USA, Europe and Asia gather at the event to
network and exchange ideas while benefiting from the expertise of
this year's invited speakers. Over 300 delegates representing
shopping centre owners & developers, retailers, shopping centre
managers, property management companies, are expected to attend this
year' s convention.
Additionally the Exhibition that runs in conjunction with the
convention is open to conference delegates and industry trade
visitors and attracts regional and international buyers, retailers,
service suppliers etc. The Exhibition has grown over the years and
this years event will be bigger, in terms of profile of exhibits
and space. This year the Exhibition will focus on new projects and
developments in the region and has been divided into different
precincts for Leasing, Retailing, Services, etc.
Media campaigning is underway with the official program and
registration details being sent out to shopping centre industry
professionals, retailers and associated suppliers worldwide.
Additionally the event will be promoted through the
International Council of Shopping Centre head office in New York to
a potential audience of 54,000 members.
The last convention in 2004, attracted over 270 delegates
from across the Middle East, India, Europe, Asia, South Africa, US,
Canada, and the United Kingdom.

Middle East Council of Shopping Centres (MECSC) and the
International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). The ICSC is
a trade association of the shopping centre industry. It is a
non-profit association run on behalf of its 54,000 members
world-wide. MECSC is the regional body representing shopping
mall owners, developers, marketing managers, leasing managers
and specialists, retailers, consultants, property managers,
financiers, accountants, government officials and industry
suppliers.
