Job Responsibilities:

• Implement center marketing programs including planning/developing marketing and promotional programs, managing logistics and to ensure flawless execution, including total control and responsibility over all external media buys, design of internal messaging and creating media kits, advertising copy, merchant liaison, newsletters, press releases and collateral materials, etc

• Creation of all new marketing budgets and event planning for our pre/post opening periods and beyond. Including major Grand Opening festivities and logistics and securing and management of all outsourced vendors and suppliers and hiring of entire center marketing, administrative and promotional teams.

• Developing long-term customer loyalty programs and vision to build specific shopper segments from all our Marina Square area and site residents, hospitality, class-A office components and Abu Dhabi City shoppers.

• Support future center’s marketing development including advertising, collateral material, website creation, special events, sales productivity programs, research, customer and merchant communications

• Spearhead all shopping center visual merchandising, signage, directory, brand awareness, directing all PR agency and advertising company requirements, etc

• Work closely with our onsite center management staff, permanent and temporary leasing teams, tenant coordination, hotel, office, marine and residency groups, resulting in marketing initiatives that may enhance retail tenant, community and hospitality venues.

• Position requires excellent financial aptitude. Computer software proficiencies, international marketing and management experience. Candidate must be self-enterprising, a self-starter and ability to function under nominal supervision.

• Strong team building skills. Effective leadership. Excellent decision making ability and effectively starting brand-new marketing and promotional teams and their formation and organization.

• Totally develop and manage a mall-wide gift-card program, including creating and implementing sales programs and promotions and developing a strategic alliance with a major credit card organization. Organize and place all staff and manage entire customer services center team.

• Provide direction to our offshore architects in the design of our common areas, including concierge services, seasonal décor placements, management office and promotional court design and any similar items that may directly enhance the future operation of a successful mall marketing effort.

 

Key Requirements:

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and/or Communications

Experience:
6-12 years of relevant experience.

Desirable Skills:
Professional; Responsible, resourceful; Self-motivation, proficient at word, excel, PowerPoint.

 

Salary/Perks:
