Dubai Festival City, is a 1, 600 acre ‘city-within-a-city’ being built on the banks of Dubai Creek, to comprise of 2.4 million sq. ft. urban retail resort having residences, hotels and offices.

Current Project:
Worked on Cairo Festival City a project of 700 acres consisting of a mix of residential communities, a shopping boulevard, international hotels, a hospital, entertainment plaza, recreational clubs, auto park and offices.
• Visited Cairo twice to study, evaluate market and competition, currently preparing for the retailers event in May 2007 and working on the anchor tenants.

Responsibilities:

• Managing scope of Marketing & Leasing initiatives of retail portfolio and shopping mall to be opened, in collaboration with the biggest retailers in the market.
• Performing trade area analysis and formulating a comprehensive leasing plan including factors like prospect list, specifications of tenant finish criteria, location requirements and determining target lease rates.
• Soliciting proposals, negotiating contract terms. Spearheading new development perspectives, preparing lease documentation, overseeing lease signings along with formulating financial analyses and valuation models.
• Coordinating marketing programs and maintaining regular liaisons between brokers in addition to overseeing leasing commission payment process.
• Developing leasing strategies for the retail portfolio, extending center spend and foot traffic through introducing new and successful retailers to the portfolio.
• Formulating leasing budgets, implementing leasing strategies and advising management on implications of lease agreement provisions.
