To assist in the planning, coordinating and execution stages to ensure the smooth running of all events and promotions within the shopping centre.
Working within a team and individually to create a interesting and enjoyable environment to entertain guests and encourage repeat business
Events Budget: Assist the Marketing Manager in planning an event budget and ensuring all costs related to execution of events and promotions are accounted for. Assist in calendarising the activities to coordinate with important milestones of the overall marketing plan. Administer it with the objective of utilizing the resources in the most effective manner and assist in the achievement of budget by tracking expenses, and maintain relevant accounting records so as to monitor and control variances.
Event Management: Ensure the preparation, implementation, delivery and management of agreed activities / events and optimising PR exposure and related advertising and promotion opportunity during that period in coordination with the Marketing Team and speciality leasing.
• Liaise internally with the Engineering Department to ensure installation of specific technical and carpentry requirements that will affect events held on the premises.
• Liaise internally with Security, Housekeeping and Concierge to fulfill final steps on all events, awareness of events and the clean up support to all events.
• Overseeing the build of these events that they meet our requirements on staging, sound, lighting and audiovisual and timing for installation and breakdown.
• Network with the clients throughout the process and keep and maintain a relationship and maintain professionalism at all times.
Identification and Negotiation with Suppliers: Assist in Identification of the suppliers for all aspect of the proposed event, such as stand design, invitations, decorations, menus etc. negotiate rates and ensure the timely delivery/ availability of quality products that meet event requirements.

• Membership sales and activities :
Including but was not limited to the Management of the CEO Clubs monthly meetings, Breakfast Forums, Luncheons, Cocktail Receptions and Gala Dinners.

• Managing of the World CEO Forum 2006/7
Speaker recruitment, program design and management, sponsorship, delegate recruitment and the event management of the program.
• Securing venue/transportation and logistics of the event.
• Responsible for the promoting / promotion of the event.
• Making hotel reservations, renting cars and obtaining visas for visitors.
